Understanding Attorney Costs in Kentucky & Tennessee Personal Injury Cases

By law, attorneys must have a written fee agreement that clearly explains all costs and percentages. At RedStone Law, we believe in transparency, fairness, and trust from the very first conversation.

How Our Fees Work

We handle all personal injury and wrongful death cases on a contingency fee basis, meaning you pay nothing up front. Our fee is a percentage of what we recover for you:If no recovery is made, you owe nothing—no attorney fees, no court costs, and no case expenses. We put that promise in writing.

  • 33% if the case settles before filing a lawsuit
  • 35% if the case settles after filing suit but before trial
  • 40% if the case proceeds to trial

What Are Court Costs and Case Expenses?

At RedStone Law, we handle these expenses upfront and never charge interest. We also never sell your case to finance companies.

Our Transparency Promise

At the end of your case, you’ll receive a detailed written statement showing every fee and expense by date and description. In over 25 years of service, our attorneys—Mike, Morgan, and Mark—have accounted for every client dollar with honesty and precision.
